(1) Annex I to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325 sets out the list of third countries whose systems of production and control measures for organic production of agricultural products are recognised as equivalent to those laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007. In the light of new information received by the Commission since the adoption of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325, certain changes should be made to the information concerning certain third countries, the control bodies recognised by them and certain competent authorities.
(2) Argentina informed the Commission that its competent authority has recognised the control body ‘Control Union Argentina SA’ (AR-BIO-005).
(3) Australia informed the Commission that its competent authority has withdrawn the recognition of the control body ‘NASAA Certified Organic’ (AU-BIO-004).
(4) India informed the Commission that its competent authority has suspended the recognition of the control bodies ‘Natural Organic Certification Agro Pvt. Ltd’ (INORG-011), ‘Global Certification Society’ (IN-ORG-029) and ‘Krushi Certification Private Limited’ (IN-ORG-038). India also informed the Commission that its competent authority has recognised the control bodies ‘TQ Cert Services Private Limited’ (IN-ORG-006), ‘Baltic Testing India Pvt. Ltd.’ (IN-ORG-045), ‘Zenith Certifications Private Limited’ (IN-ORG-046) and ‘Trace Assure Global Certifications Private Limited’ (IN-ORG-047). India also informed the Commission that the control bodies ‘Rajasthan State Organic Certification Agency (RSOCA)’ (IN-ORG-016), ‘Madhya Pradesh State Organic Certification Agency (MPSOCA)’ (IN-ORG-021), ‘Odisha State Organic Certification Agency (OSOCA)’ (IN-ORG-024) ‘Karnataka State Organic Certification Agency’ (IN-ORG-027), ‘Telangana State Organic Certification Authority’ (IN-ORG-031), ‘Bihar State Seed and Organic Certification Agency (BSSOCA)’ (IN-ORG-032), ‘MS Agroland Services Private Limited’ (INORG-037), ‘Andhra Pradesh State Organic Products Certification Authority (APSOPCA)’ (IN-ORG-040), ‘Getcert Private Limited’ (IN-ORG-041), ‘Shivalik Natural Resources Management Society (SNRMS)’ (IN-ORG-043) and ‘Meghalaya State Organic Certification Body’ (IN-ORG-044) have changed their internet address. India also informed the Commission that the control bodies ‘ISCOP (Indian Society for Certification of Organic products)’ (IN-ORG-009), ‘Chhattisgarh State Organic Certification Agency (CGOCERT)’ (IN-ORG-035) and ‘CERT ID India Private Limited’ (IN-ORG-039) have changed their name and internet address.
(5) Japan informed the Commission that the control body ‘Ecocert Japan Limited’ (JPBIO-006) changed its name and internet address.
(6) South Korea informed the Commission that the control bodies ‘The Centre for Environment Friendly Agricultural Products Certification (Institute of Hadong Green Tea)’ (KR-ORG-014), ‘Jeonnam bioindustry foundation’ (KR-ORG-017) and ‘University Industry Liaison Office of CNU’ (KR-ORG-027) changed their name, that the control bodies ‘Hansol Food, Agriculture, Fisher-Forest Certification Centre’ (KRORG-013) and ‘Korea Organic Certification Co., LTD’ (KR-ORG-031) changed their internet address and that the control bodies ‘KAgrifood Certification Center CO., LTD’ (KR-ORG-006), ‘Institute of friendly environment-agriculture, Inc.’ (KR-ORG029) and ‘Ctforum.Inc’ (KR-ORG-037) changed their name and internet address. South Korea also informed the Commission that its competent authority has withdrawn the recognition of the control body ‘DODAM Eco-Friendly’ (KR-ORG044).
(7) Tunisia informed the Commission that the name of its competent authority has been changed. It also informed that its competent authority has withdrawn the recognition of the control bodies ‘Institut national de la normalisation et de la propriété industrielle (INNORPI)’ (TN-BIO-007) and ‘CERES GmbH’ (TN-BIO-009), that the control body ‘Ecocert SA’ (TN-BIO-001) has changed its name and that the control body ‘Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH’ (TN-BIO-010) has changed its internet address.
(8) The United States informed the Commission that its competent authority has withdrawn the recognition of the control body ‘Yolo County Department of Agriculture’ (USORG-059), that the control bodies ‘Control Union Certification’ (US-ORG-008) and ‘Kiwa BCS Costa Rica Limitada’ (US-ORG-070) changed their internet address and that the control body ‘IBD Certifications’ (US-ORG-065) has changed its name and internet address.
(9) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/883 deleted Annex II to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325. As a consequence, references in Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325 to that annex and to the subject matter covered by it should be deleted.
(10) Since the expiry date of the recognition of a third country for the purpose of equivalence under Article 33(2) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 is set out in Regulation (EU) 2018/848, the application of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325 should be aligned with that expiry date. Consequently, references to that date should also be removed from Annex I to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325.
(11) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325 should therefore be amended accordingly.
