Waste shipments – information to be included in certificates on subsequent (non-)interim recovery & disposal operations
If treated waste is shipped for subsequent interim or non-interim treatment from one facility to another facility in the country of destination, information on that subsequent treatment must be submitted via the central electronic system.
This initiative will set out a template for the certificate to be used by facilities that perform interim treatment of shipped waste, to confirm that a subsequent treatment in another facility was completed.
