Commission expert group on Industrial property policy (E03841)
Mission
The group of experts on industrial property policy is set up for matters relating to the protection, management, licensing and enforcement of industrial property rights. For the purpose, industrial property rights shall include patents, utility models, supplementary protection certificates, trademarks, designs, geographical indications for craft and industrial products and trade secrets.
Task
- Assist the Commission in the preparation of delegated acts
- Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives
- Coordinate with Member States, exchange of views
- Other (Monitor the development of policies and emerging issues in the area of industrial property rights)
