to advise the Commission on issues relating to the concerned area/to establish close cooperation between the statistical institutions of the Member States and the Commission/to facilitate the exchange of information, experiences and good practices

• Assist the Commission in the preparation of delegated acts
• Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives
• Coordinate with Member States, exchange of views
