Biotech Act II
The proposed initiative reaffirms biotechnology as a strategic technology across multiple sectors, essential for Europe's competitiveness, resilience, and clean and digital transitions. It ensures a level playing field in the Single Market, eliminating fragmentation and guaranteeing that innovative biotech products and processes can quickly enter and freely circulate within the EU.
