Chemicals classification & labelling – endocrine disruptors & persistent pollutants
This initiative adds the substances that were already identified as endocrine disruptors or persistent pollutants under the Chemicals Regulation (REACH), the Biocidal Products Regulation, and the Plant Protection Products Regulation into Annex VI to the Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packing of Chemicals (CLP Regulation).
This is in line with the Commission's 'one substance, one assessment' chemicals assessment reform and is required under Article 37(7) of the CLP Regulation.
This initiative runs in parallel with Endocrine disruptors & persistent & bioaccumulative substances – transfer from related EU legislation to CLP Regulation.
