(1) Pursuant to Article 97(3) of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council (2), Hungary’s application for registration of the geographical indication ‘Etyeki Pezsgő’, which the Commission had received before the date of entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (3).
(2) No statement of opposition under Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, which is applicable to the application for registration in accordance with Article 90(2) of that Regulation, has been received by the Commission.
(3) The geographical indication ‘Etyeki Pezsgő’ should therefore be entered in the Union register of geographical indications,
