Bakgrunn

(1) Pursuant to Article 26(2) of Regulation (EU) 2019/787 of the European Parliament and of the Council (2), Italy’s application for registration of the geographical indication ‘Ratafia Ciociara / Rattafia Ciociara’, which the Commission had received before the date of entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (3).
(2) No statement of opposition under Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, which is applicable to the application for registration in accordance with Article 90(2) of that Regulation, has been received by the Commission.
(3) The geographical indication ‘Ratafia Ciociara / Rattafia Ciociara’ should therefore be entered in the Union register of geographical indications,
