State aid – Revision of the Commission Notice on guarantees
The guarantee notice sets out the Commission’s approach to State aid granted in the form of guarantees.
The Commission’s recent evaluation of the notice has revealed some areas in need of improvement, notably:
- ensuring market-conformity of guarantee premiums;
- establishing greater coherence with other State aid rules; and
- simplifying reporting, thereby reducing administrative burden for the Member States.
