Artikkel 129

1. Denne avtale er utarbeidet i ett eksemplar på dansk, engelsk, finsk, fransk, gresk, islandsk, italiensk, nederlandsk, norsk, portugisisk, spansk, svensk og tysk, med samme gyldighet for hver av tekstene.

Som følge av utvidelsen av Det europeiske økonomiske samarbeidsområde skal teksten til denne avtale på bulgarsk, tsjekkisk, estisk, ungarsk, latvisk, litauisk, maltesisk, polsk, rumensk, slovakisk og slovensk gis samme gyldighet.

Tekstene til de rettsakter som er omhandlet i vedleggene, har samme gyldighet på bulgarsk, tsjekkisk, dansk, nederlandsk, engelsk, estisk, finsk, fransk, tysk, gresk, ungarsk, italiensk, latvisk, litauisk, maltesisk, polsk, portugisisk, rumensk, slovakisk, slovensk, spansk og svensk slik de er kunngjort i Den europeiske unions tidende, og det skal utarbeides tekster på islandsk og norsk som skal gis samme gyldighet og kunngjøres i EØS-tillegget til Den europeiske unions tidende.

2. Denne avtale skal ratifiseres eller godkjennes av avtalepartene i samsvar med deres forfatningsregler.

Den skal deponeres i Rådssekretariatet for De europeiske fellesskap, som skal sende bekreftede kopier til de øvrige avtaleparter.

Ratifikasjons- og godkjennelsesdokumentene skal deponeres i Rådssekretariatet for De europeiske fellesskap, som skal underrette de øvrige avtaleparter.

3. Denne avtale trer i kraft på det tidspunkt og på de vilkår som er fastsatt i protokollen om justering av avtalen om Det europeiske økonomiske samarbeidsområde.

Article 129

1. This Agreement is drawn up in a single original in the Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish languages, each of these texts being equally authentic.

Pursuant to the enlargements of the European Economic Area the versions of this Agreement in the Bulgarian, Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Romanian, Slovak and Slovenian languages shall be equally authentic.

The texts of the acts referred to in the Annexes are equally authentic in the Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish languages as published in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall for the authentication thereof be drawn up in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages and published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union.

2. This Agreement shall be ratified or approved by the Contracting Parties in accordance with their respective constitutional requirements.

It shall be deposited with the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Communities by which certified copies shall be transmitted to all other Contracting Parties.

The instruments of ratification or approval shall be deposited with the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Communities which shall notify all other Contracting Parties.

3. This Agreement shall enter into force on the date and under the conditions provided for in the Protocol Adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
