Om komiteen: Population and Housing Censuses (E01544)
Mission
The Working Group on Population and Housing Censuses was set up in 2013 to discuss and share information on issues related to population and housing censuses such as methodology, data exchanges, validation procedures, quality assessment and metadata and to provide advice and assistance to the Commission (Eurostat) with regard to those matters.
Task
- Assist the Commission in the preparation of delegated acts
- Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives
- Coordinate with Member States, exchange of views
- Other (Discuss and propose solutions to technical and methodological problems related to the population and housing censuses)
- Provides expertise to the Commission when preparing implementing measures, i.e. before the Commission submits these draft measures to a comitology committee
