Mission
Implementation and monitoring of Regulation 2003/2003
Task
• Assist the Commission in relation to the implementation of existing Union legislation, programmes and policies
• Assist the Commission in the preparation of delegated acts
• Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives
• Coordinate with Member States, exchange of views
• Other (Provides expertise to DG GROW: in relation to questions relating to the implementation of Union legislation, programmes and policies in the field of fertilising products, in particular concerning Regulations (EC) No 2003/2003 and (EU) 2019/1009 and the implementing and delegated Regulations adopted based on the latter; in the preparation of legislative proposals, policy initiatives and delegated acts in the field of fertilising products; and in the early preparation of implementing acts, before submission to the committee in accordance with Regulation (EU) No182/2011.)
• Provides expertise to the Commission when preparing implementing measures, i.e. before the Commission submits these draft measures to a comitology committee
