Expert group on technical requirements for inland waterway vessels
Mission
Help the Commission prepare legislative proposals and policy initiatives; give advice and provide input to the Commission during preparation of the delegated acts foreseen in the Directive (EU) 2016/1629; support the Commission in the general implementation and follow-up the technical requirements for inland waterway vessels (including acts indirectly linked with the Technical Requirements Directive such as those on the Non Road Mobile Machinery Regulation); support the Commission with regard to the operation and development of the European Hull Data Base (art 19. 7 of the Directive (EU) 2016/1629).
Task
• Assist the Commission in relation to the implementation of existing Union legislation, programmes and policies
• Assist the Commission in the preparation of delegated acts
• Assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives
