BAKGRUNN (fra Kommisjonens initiativ 16.7.2020)
About this initiative
Summary
Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) will play a key role to reach EU 2030 - 2050 energy and climate objectives, as recognised in the Green Deal. In the post COVID-19 context, it is crucial to avoid significant delays in investments in ORE that can help fostering a recovery leading to sustainable and inclusive growth. The strategy will lay out how best to exploit the ORE potential and propose actions for scaling up its generation, distribution and use in view of reaching climate neutrality by 2050
Roadmap

16 July 2020 - 13 August 2020 (midnight Brussels time)
The Commission would like to hear your views.

The Commission will summarise the input received in a synopsis report explaining how the input will be taken on board and, if applicable, why certain suggestions can't be taken up. Feedback received will be published on this site and therefore must adhere to the feedback rules.
