Information and communication technologies (ICT) usage and e-commerce for 2027 – specifications
Statistics on information and communication technologies (ICT) usage and e-commerce by businesses requires specific data sets to be collected to monitor the digital economy and society.
This initiative will set out the technical specifications for collecting those data, so that the data collected by EU countries on ICT usage and e-commerce is comparable. This includes:
- variables
- measurement unit
- statistical population
- classifications and breakdowns
- data transmission deadline.
