Bakgrunn

(1) Pursuant to Article 97(3) of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council (2), Hungary’s application for registration of the geographical indication ‘Mura / Murai’, which the Commission had received before the date of entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (3).
(2) No statement of opposition under Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1143, which is applicable to the application for registration in accordance with Article 90(2) of that Regulation, has been received by the Commission.
(3) The geographical indication ‘Mura / Murai’ should therefore be entered in the Union register of geographical indications,
