F-gases – new certification requirements for solvents
A new F-Gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573 entered into force on 11 March 2024. Given that the new Regulation establishes new types of solvents for which certification of persons is required, it is necessary to repeal and replace the current Implementing Regulation to introduce minimum certification requirements for these new types of solvents and ensure mutual recognition of certificates among Member States.
