Products derived from animal by-products as component materials in EU fertilising products
This initiative concerns the inclusion of certain derived products within the meaning of the Animal By-Products Regulation (such as meat and bone meal or processed animal proteins) as component materials in EU fertilising products.
For all the derived products covered by this initiative, an end point in the manufacturing chain has been determined in accordance with the rules on animal by-products (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1605).
