BAKGRUNN (fra kommisjonsbeslutningen)
(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1267 (2) provides that public testing facilities of Member States are to be designated as Union testing facilities following a call for expression of interest.
(2) The Commission launched the call for expression of interest GRO/IMA/23/2711/13161 for two categories: construction products, and eco-design and energy labelling.
(3) The HBLFA Francisco Josephinum applied in the context of the call for expression of interest GRO/IMA/23/2711/13161 for the selection as Union testing facility for eco-design and energy labelling.
(4) An evaluation of the application received was carried out pursuant to the applicable rules and the conditions set out in the call for expression of interest.
(5) Based on the results of the evaluation, HBLFA Francisco Josephinum should be designated as a Union testing facility for eco-design and energy labelling,
