F-gases – update of minimum requirements for switchgear
A new F-Gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573 entered into force on 11 March 2024. The Regulation establishes new requirements for the certification of persons carrying out activities on switchgear containing F-gases. Thus it is necessary to repeal and replace the current Implementing Regulation to update the minimum certification requirements for such equipment and allow mutual recognition of certificates among Member States.
